Ingredients

  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Salt - to taste
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili Flakes - ¼ teaspoon
  • Canned tuna in its own juice - 3.5 oz
  • Canned Baby Beets - 14.8 oz
  • Arugula - 2.5 oz
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Pide bread - 2 pieces
  • Banana Leaves - 4 pieces
  • Spanish onions - 2.1 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a bowl, mix the minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, red pepper flakes, beans, tuna, and finely chopped arugula. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.

Step 2

Carefully cut the pita to create a pocket and place 2 lettuce leaves inside. Fill with the salad and thinly sliced onion.
