Turkey Fajitas
Ingredients
- Onion - 1 head
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Orange Bell Peppers - 2 pieces
- Turkey - 17.6 oz
- Fajitas sauce - 1.8 oz
- Lime - 1 piece
- Sour Cream - 2½ tablespoons
- Tortillas - 8 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the onion into thin rings.
Step 2
Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and cut it into strips.
Step 3
Drizzle oil in a skillet and place it over low heat. When the oil sizzles, add the onion and bell pepper. Sauté for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Cut the turkey fillet into small pieces and marinate in the fajitas sauce.
Step 5
Grate 1 teaspoon of lime zest, and cut the lime into wedges. Mix the zest with the sour cream and add minced garlic.
Step 6
Transfer the vegetables to a plate and cover with a lid to keep warm.
Step 7
In the oil left from frying the vegetables, sauté the turkey for 5–7 minutes, stirring.
Step 8
Moisten the tortillas with hot water and place them in a hot oven for a couple of minutes.
Step 9
Place turkey and vegetables on each tortilla, fold in half. Serve with sour cream sauce and lime wedges.
