- White Beans - 14.1 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Sage - 2 pieces
- Olive Oil - 0 fl oz

Soak the beans in cold water until they swell.
Step 2
Then drain the water, place all the ingredients in a pot, add 2 liters of water, and cook on very low heat. Do not increase the heat so that the beans do not move in the pot.
Step 3
Cook for about an hour. The beans are ready. Serve with veal shank braised with tomatoes and red wine.
