Ingredients
- Beef chuck roast - 17.6 oz
- Pork Skewers - 17.6 oz
- Salad Potatoes - 5 pieces
- Onion - 2 heads
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Millet - 5.3 oz
- Pork fat - 2.5 oz
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 4 tablespoons
- White Cabbage - 14.1 oz
- Bay leaf - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a four-liter pot, boil the meat for 1.5 hours, then add well-washed and peeled millet. When it boils, add whole peeled potatoes, finely chopped onion, and carrot.
Step 2
Cook the potatoes until they are soft. Remove the potatoes, mash them in a separate bowl, and return them to the pot.
Step 3
Add the crushed pork fat with garlic or very finely chopped pork fat and grated cabbage. Cook everything together on low heat, stirring constantly, for about 15-20 minutes.
Step 4
Add tomato paste, spices, and salt, and bring to a boil. Cover and let it steep for half an hour. Optionally, you can add finely chopped dill and bell pepper. The dish should be very thick.
