Ukrainian Hunter's Soup with Chicken Offal

Ingredients

  • Chicken offal - 17.6 oz
  • Salt - to taste
  • Bay leaf - 2 pieces
  • Onion - 2 heads
  • Carrot - 2 pieces
  • Parsley - 2 stems
  • Millet - 3 tablespoons
  • Potato - 2 pieces
  • Herbs - 1.8 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Pour cold water over the chicken offal and bring to a boil. Skim off the foam, add salt, bay leaves, onion, carrot, parsley, and cook until ready.

Step 2

Strain the broth and bring it back to a boil.

Step 3

Rinse the millet and add it to the broth.

Step 4

Dice the potatoes and add them to the soup. Cook for 30 minutes.

Step 5

Sprinkle the finished soup with chopped herbs.
