Ingredients
- Yellow Beets - 1 piece
- Potato - 5 pieces
- White Cabbage - 10.6 oz
- Carrot - 3 pieces
- White Beans - 10.6 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Baking Tomatoes - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash, peel, and chop the beet, carrot, cabbage, onion, and potato.
Step 2
Sauté the carrot with onion and tomatoes in oil. Sauté the other vegetables separately.
Step 3
Cook the beans until tender in a large amount of water. Then add the sautéed vegetables to the same pot, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4
After that, cover the pot with a lid and let it sit for about 10 minutes for the borscht to reach its full flavor.
