Description
If you want (or need) to enrich yourself with iodine, there are two infusions (this is especially relevant for steppe regions and areas with increased radiation). These are grandma's recipes that can even alleviate some thyroid issues... I'm sharing this as 'healthy' culinary advice, tested on myself.)))
Ingredients
- Vodka - 3 qt
- Walnuts - 15 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Option 1: 10–15 green walnuts (with the shell), at milk-wax ripeness, wash them, dry off the water, crack them with a hammer (so they are broken) and place them in a 3-liter jar. Let it infuse for a month. Use it for colds, flu, ARVI, and various intestinal disorders, taking 1 tablespoon before bed. The color is a bit scary, almost black with a greenish tint, but as a medicine, it is indispensable. Tested on myself during this year's flu season. Antibiotics and acetaminophen take a back seat. Once the vodka is consumed, the infusion and tincture can be repeated; this is not possible with the second recipe (option).
Step 2
Option 2: Any container, fill halfway with partitions made from ripe walnuts (you can pour boiling water over them beforehand, but this will also wash away some of the healing trace elements) and also fill with vodka. It can be used for 'treatment' and served at the table without shame. The longer the vodka infuses, the darker the color will be. After a month, it acquires a pleasant cognac color and a wealth of beneficial properties. As with any other product — everything is good in moderation!!!
