Ingredients
- Pitted olives - 2 cups
- Pitted olives - ½ cup
- Water - 2 cups
- Olive Oil - 2 teaspoons
- Cumin leaves - ½ teaspoon
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Nigella Seeds - ¼ teaspoon
- Orange zest - ¼ teaspoon
- Champagne Vinegar - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the green and black olives in a small bowl and cover with water. Let sit for 10 minutes. Drain and dry.
Step 2
In a small skillet, combine the olive oil, black and green olives, crushed cumin and garlic, fennel seeds, and orange zest. Set over medium heat and cook for about 5 minutes, until fragrant with garlic and the oil is well heated.
Step 3
Remove from heat, add the vinegar, mix well, and let cool slightly. Serve warm.
