  • Tahini - 4 tablespoons
  • Lemon - ½ piece
  • Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
  • Smoked Paprika - 1 tablespoon
  • Za'atar - 1 tablespoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Place the cooked or canned beans in a food processor.

Step 2

Add 4 tablespoons of tahini, the juice of half a lemon, za'atar (if available), and olive oil.

Step 3

It's better to add the olive oil gradually until you achieve the desired consistency.

Step 4

Turn on the food processor and blend until you reach the desired consistency. If you need it to be thinner, add a little more oil.

Step 5

This way, you can achieve different consistencies, from thick hummus to a sauce-like texture.

Step 6

Sprinkle with ground smoked paprika on top and serve with unsalted chips or crackers.
