- Oat flakes - 10.6 oz
- Water - 1 qt
- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Onion - 1 head
- Smoked Ham on the Bone - 7.1 oz
- Salad Potatoes - 2 pieces
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Spices - to taste
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sift the oat flour, pour it into a liter jar, fill it with cold water, and leave it in a warm place for one to two days, resulting in a liquid called 'cezha.'
Step 2
Prepare the meat broth and boil finely chopped onion and carrot in it.
Step 3
Lightly sauté the ham in butter and add it to the broth.
Step 4
Boil the potatoes separately, either in their skins or peeled, and then cut or mash them.
Step 5
Strain the cezha and add it to the broth.
Step 6
Add the potatoes, spices, and simmer the soup for a few minutes.
Step 7
When serving, place a boiled egg in the bowl and optionally squeeze a clove of garlic.
