Description
Zucchini is very easy and quick to prepare, and most importantly, it is a very tasty dish. This zucchini dish can also be made in the form of rolls, wrapping each slice individually, or, as in this case, in layers. Be careful with the salt, as the cheese already contains salt. This method of preparation is also good for eggplants and beets, for example. This dish will be a wonderful addition to meat or can be served on its own. Enjoy your meal!
Ingredients
- Courgette - 2 pieces
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 14.1 oz
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Herbs - 1 bunch
- Vegetable Oil - 3 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Make grooves all over the zucchini skin with a fork (scratching lengthwise).
Step 3
Then cut the zucchini lengthwise into slices or pieces about 5 mm thick.
Step 4
Fry on both sides with the addition of vegetable oil (dividing the oil into several portions, as you will need to add it while frying the remaining slices).
Step 5
Place the finished slices on a plate and let them cool slightly.
Step 6
Put the cream cheese in a bowl.
Step 7
Finely chop the herbs.
Step 8
Also finely chop the garlic.
Step 9
Add the herbs and garlic to the cheese.
Step 10
Mix thoroughly.
Step 11
On a serving dish, place the first layer of zucchini and spread the cheese-garlic mixture over them.
Step 12
Next, place the following layer of fried zucchini.
Step 13
And again spread the cheese mixture (continue layering all the slices and spreading them with cheese).
Step 14
You can leave the top layer of zucchini slices without cheese and simply garnish with herbs.
Step 15
Serve the cake at the table.
Step 16
You can serve it in portions, rolling it into a roll with a fork, or simply as a slice, adding a little salt to taste.
