Ingredients
- Puff Pastry - 3 pieces
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Courgette - 2 pieces
- Pizza Mozzarella Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Take the pastry out of the freezer in advance.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Grease the muffin tin with olive oil.
Step 3
Cut the zucchinis in half lengthwise and then into half-circles about 2 mm thick.
Step 4
Grate the mozzarella cheese on a coarse grater — you can freeze it for about 15 minutes beforehand to make grating easier.
Step 5
Cut each sheet of pastry into three strips along the long side.
Step 6
Beat 1 egg with a fork in a bowl.
Step 7
Brush each strip of pastry with egg.
Step 8
Place slices of zucchini along the long side of the strips so that they do not reach the center and stick out over the edge.
Step 9
Sprinkle mozzarella in the center of the strips.
Step 10
Fold the pastry in half along the long side so that all the mozzarella is covered.
Step 11
Roll the strips with the filling into a spiral and place them in the muffin tin. Brush each rose with egg. Bake for 20 minutes until the pastry is cooked through and golden.
