Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 5.6 oz
- Water - 3 fl oz
- Salt - 0.1 oz
- Dry yeast - 0 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Suluguni Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Melted Cheese - 2.1 oz
- Whole egg - 1 piece
- Butter - 0.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Add salt and yeast to the water and mix.
Step 2
Add the flour, then mix thoroughly again, and finally add the vegetable oil.
Step 3
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise.
Step 4
Once the dough has risen once, mix it again and let it rest for another 15 minutes.
Step 5
Then take 200 g of the prepared dough and shape it into a ball, then roll it out with your hands. The edges should be thinner, and the center thicker.
Step 6
Place the cheese on the dough and 'close' the edges, forming the khachapuri into a 'boat' shape.
Step 7
Bake in the oven at 572°F for 6 minutes.
Step 8
30 seconds before it's done, add the yolk in the center.
Step 9
When serving, place a piece of butter on top.
