Description
When I made large cookies, I ended up with about 9 pieces. However, I think it's better to make them smaller.
Ingredients
- Chopped almonds - 5.3 oz
- Sugar - 5.6 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1.4 oz
- Egg white - 3 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grind the almonds (without skin) to a texture that is somewhere between flour and crumbs.
Step 2
Add the egg whites and sugar to the ground almonds and beat well. This mixture needs to be slightly warmed to dissolve the sugar; you can put it in the microwave, but it should not be hot.
Step 3
Add the flour to the dough. It's ready. If you think the dough is too runny, you can add a little more flour, but don't overdo it; it should remain relatively runny.
Step 4
Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with greased parchment paper and dusted with flour. Bake in the oven for 20–30 minutes (I set it to about 356°F, then lowered the temperature a bit, but this depends on the oven; it's best to check for doneness — the edges should be slightly dark, and the center should be cooked through).
