Description
+ shredded coconut/ sesame/ crushed almonds or cinnamon for rolling.
Ingredients
- Chopped almonds - 3.5 oz
- Pitted olives - 12 pieces
- Coconut flakes - 5 teaspoons
- Lemon - ½ pieces
- Water - 3 spoons
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 tablespoon
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
If the blender is powerful, you can blend all the ingredients together with the lemon juice at once. If you have a simpler blender, first grind the almonds in the blender (or coffee grinder). The dates can be blended in the blender with the lemon juice and water, or you can simply mash them with a fork or chop them finely with a knife.
Step 2
Mix the almonds, dates, and the other ingredients thoroughly until you achieve a sticky dough. Roll into balls (slightly smaller than a ping pong ball) and coat them in shredded coconut, sesame seeds, or cinnamon.
Step 3
Place the balls in the freezer to let them firm up a bit.
