Almond Biscotti
Ingredients
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Nuts - 3.5 oz
- White Chocolate - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with sugar.
Step 2
Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 3
Mix with the egg mixture.
Step 4
Add any nuts and chocolate (I used almonds and white chocolate).
Step 5
Mix everything together.
Step 6
Divide the dough into 2 logs.
Step 7
Bake at a low temperature of 302°F for 30–40 minutes. The cookies should be baked through but not darkened!!!
Step 8
Cool on a wire rack.
Step 9
Cut into pieces about 1–1.5 cm thick.
Step 10
Place on a baking sheet and continue to dry at an even lower temperature — about 266°F for another 30–40 minutes.
Step 11
Cool the finished cookies on a wire rack.
