Ingredients
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Apricots - 14.1 oz
- Eggs - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 4.9 oz
- Almonds - 7.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the almonds in a bowl of boiling water for 5 minutes, rinse with cold water, and remove the skins.
Step 2
Lightly toast them in a dry heated skillet, transfer to a blender, and grind into a powder.
Step 3
Add the softened butter (110 g), eggs, sugar (90 g), and flour to the almonds, and blend until smooth.
Step 4
Line a baking dish with parchment paper, pour in the batter, and spread it evenly across the bottom with your fingers.
Step 5
Cut the apricots in half and remove the pits.
Step 6
Place the apricots on top of the batter, brush them with the remaining melted butter, and sprinkle with sugar.
Step 7
Bake in a preheated oven at 190 °C (375 °F) for 35 minutes.
