Description

- Chopped almonds - 5.3 oz
- Butter - 4.2 oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 4.6 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
- Salt - a pinch
- Powdered Sugar - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the almonds coarsely. Melt the chocolate with the butter in a water bath.
Step 2
Separate the yolks from the whites, add sugar, and beat until fluffy.
Step 3
Combine the almonds with the melted chocolate.
Step 4
Whip the egg whites with salt for 4–5 minutes. Fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture.
Step 5
Line a baking pan (22 cm) with parchment paper. If you don't have parchment, grease the pan with butter, line it with regular paper, and grease it again. Pour the mixture into the pan. Place it in a preheated oven at 356°F for 30 minutes.
Step 6
Serve the cake dusted with powdered sugar alongside a scoop of ice cream.
