Almond Tuiles with Olive Oil
Ingredients
- Sugar - ¼ cup
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Potato protein - 6 tablespoons
- Olive Oil - ¼ cup
- Citrus Zest Mix - ½ teaspoon
- Salt - ¼ teaspoon
- Almond - ¼ teaspoon
- Chopped almonds - 1.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 374°F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix together the sugar, egg white, starch, olive oil, zest, salt, and almond extract. Mix well.
Step 3
On the baking sheet, place about 6 sets of 2 teaspoons of batter for each cookie, using the back of a clean spoon to spread each to about 7.5 cm in size. Top each cookie with 1 teaspoon of almonds.
Step 4
Bake in the oven for 7-9 minutes. Remove from the oven and use a spatula to lift the hot cookies off the baking sheet, placing them on a rolling pin or wine bottle. Gently press to form a semicircular shape and cool. Bake more cookies in the same manner.
