Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 4.4 oz
  • Ground Oats - 3.5 oz
  • Desiccated coconut - 2.3 oz
  • Brown Sugar - 6 oz
  • Butter - 4.4 oz
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 2 tablespoons
  • Activated Baking Soda - 1½ teaspoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 302°F. Grease 2 baking sheets with butter. In a bowl, combine the flour, oats, coconut, and sugar. Mix well.

Step 2

Combine the butter and honey in a small saucepan and melt over high heat. Mix the baking soda with hot water and add it to the melted butter. Pour the mixture into the flour and mix well. Take spoonfuls of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the baking sheet, slightly flattening them, leaving 6 cm between each.

Step 3

Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes. Transfer to a container and allow to cool completely.
