- Lemon - 1 piece
- Apple - 3 pieces
- Raw cane sugar - 10.6 oz
- Chicken Egg - 8 pieces
- Ground Almonds - 11.5 oz
- Almond - 0 fl oz
- Chopped almonds - 1.8 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Grease a baking dish with butter. Arrange the apple slices in the pan, drizzle with the juice of half a lemon, and sprinkle with two tablespoons of sugar. Bring to a boil and cook covered for seven minutes until softened. Allow to cool.
Step 2
In a food processor, combine the eggs, almonds, essence, remaining sugar, and a tablespoon of lemon juice. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle with almond flakes.
Step 3
Bake for forty minutes. Let the finished pie cool and dust with powdered sugar.
