Ingredients
- Kefir - 10 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 3 fl oz
- Dry yeast - 0.4 oz
- 3.2% Milk - 3 fl oz
- Sugar - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour - 24.7 oz
- Apple - 2 pieces
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Cinnamon - 0.1 oz
- Whole egg - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Warm the milk slightly, add 2 tablespoons of sugar and the yeast. Stir, cover with a towel, and place in a warm place for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Heat the kefir and 100 ml of vegetable oil, and pour it into the bowl where the dough will be mixed.
Step 3
Crack 2 eggs into the mixture.
Step 4
Add salt to the kefir mixture, pour in the yeast mixture, and mix well. Then sift in the flour and knead the dough.
Step 5
Cover the finished dough with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Step 6
Cut the apples into small cubes.
Step 7
Melt the butter in a skillet.
Step 8
Add the apples and stir constantly.
Step 9
Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar.
Step 10
Add cinnamon, mix everything, and cook until soft.

Form a small patty from the dough and place the filling in the center, then shape it into a pie.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper greased with vegetable oil. Then place the pies seam side down and brush the tops with egg yolk. Preheat the oven to 356°F and bake the pies for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.

Transfer the finished pies to a serving dish and serve.
