- Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 5 pieces
- Apple - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 1.4 oz
- Salt - 0.2 oz
- Butter - 0.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Add salt to the egg whites and beat with a mixer.
Step 2
Blend the cottage cheese, yolks, flour, and sugar until smooth.
Step 3
Add the egg whites to the cottage cheese mixture and gently fold together.
Step 4
Grease the baking dish with butter. Spread half of the cottage cheese mixture, then layer with thinly sliced apples. Top with the remaining cottage cheese mixture and smooth it out.
Step 5
The finished pie can be decorated with powdered sugar or whipped cream.
