I measured everything with a 250-gram glass.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 4 pieces
- Apple - 4 pieces
- Poppy seed paste - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the apples and remove the cores, then cut them into pieces (cubes).
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 302°F.
Step 3
Beat the eggs with sugar.
Step 4
Mix the flour with the poppy seeds.
Step 5
Combine the egg mixture with the flour.
Step 6
Add the apples and mix using a spatula or spoon.
Step 7
Grease a baking pan (20 cm diameter) with butter, and optionally dust with flour or semolina.
Step 8
Transfer the batter to the pan and smooth it out.
Step 9
Bake for 50 minutes. Check the pie with a wooden stick — if it comes out wet, bake until done.
Step 10
The cooled pie can be dusted with powdered sugar.
