Ingredients
- Butter - 8.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 17.6 oz
- Apple - 14.1 oz
- Walnuts - 4.6 oz
- Cinnamon - to taste
- Raisins - 6.7 oz
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Light Beer - 8 fl oz
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the butter into pieces.
Step 2
When the butter becomes soft, mix it with the flour and add the beer.
Step 3
Knead the dough and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Divide the dough into two parts, roll each part out thinly. Sprinkle each piece of dough with powdered sugar, then layer with chopped apples, crushed walnuts, and raisins, and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Step 5
Carefully roll the dough with the filling into a strudel, place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and bake the strudel in a preheated oven at 338°F for 30 minutes.
Step 6
Sprinkle the finished strudel with powdered sugar and cut into serving pieces. Serve hot or cold.
