Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 2.8 oz
- Milk - 5 fl oz
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Vanilla extract - 1 tablespoon
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Apple - 5 pieces
- Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 2
Melt the butter.
Step 3
Mix the sugar, eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla paste in the bowl of a mixer.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking powder.
Step 5
Mix everything together and knead the dough.
Step 6
Peel the apples. Cut each one in half and remove the seeds.
Step 7
Thinly slice the apples using a mandoline: the thinner the slices, the better.
Step 8
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Pour in a little of the batter, then layer thin slices of apple on top.
Step 9
Layer all the apples and dough in the baking dish.
Step 10
Lower the oven temperature to 356°F, place the cake inside, and bake for 35 minutes. Allow the finished apple cake to cool on a wire rack.
Step 11
Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
