- Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
- Milk - 4 fl oz
- Margarine - 8.8 oz
- Sugar - 21.2 oz
- Wheat Flour - 16.9 oz
- Baking Powder - 0.5 oz
- Raisins - 0.7 oz
- Apple - 4 pieces
- Orange zest - to taste
- Citrus Zest Mix - to taste
- Nuts - to taste
- Poppy seed paste - to taste
- Chocolate - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt the margarine until liquid, you can do this in a bowl over low heat. Add sugar to the melted margarine and whisk well until the sugar dissolves. Pour in 120 ml of milk. Once the mixture cools, beat in the eggs and mix well again. Then add the baking powder and flour, adding flour until the batter reaches a thick sour cream consistency.
Step 2
Prepare the filling: finely chop the apples with raisins, lemon zest, and other ingredients to taste. Add to the batter.
Step 3
Mix the batter well again and pour it into a pre-prepared cake pan with a diameter of 24 cm, greased with margarine. Bake at a temperature of 200–410°F for about 35 minutes. Check for doneness with a stick or match.
