Ingredients
- Butter - 4.8 oz
- Cheshire Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 9.3 oz
- Baking Powder - 0.6 oz
- Sugar - 12.3 oz
- Milk - 3 fl oz
- Apple - 2⅒ kg
- Ground Cinnamon - 0.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
Step 2
Combine 200 grams of flour, half the sugar, baking powder, and grated cheese. Pour the milk and oil into the dry mixture and knead the dough.
Step 3
Peel the apples, slice them, add cinnamon, the remaining flour, and sugar, and mix well.
Step 4
Divide the dough into 2 parts: 200 grams and 520 grams. Place the smaller portion of the dough in the bottom of a baking dish, then add the filling, and top with the second layer of dough. Smooth the surface and bake in an oven preheated to 302°F for 45 minutes.
