Description
Apple Cheesecake with Oats
Ingredients
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Vanilla salt - 0 oz
- Wheat Flour - 9.9 oz
- Brown Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Butter - 12.2 oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 17.6 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Apple - 2 pieces
- Ground Cinnamon - 1⅕ teaspoons
- Ground Oats - 2.1 oz
- Caramel Syrup - 6 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 347°F. Mix the flour (140 g) and brown sugar (100 g). Mash the butter (230 g) with a fork and combine it with the flour and sugar until crumbly. Place the dough on a baking sheet. First, use your hands, then a flat glass or small pot to spread it evenly and smooth it out. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until the dough is slightly browned.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with sugar, adding one egg at a time and mixing well. Then add the vanilla and mix until smooth, but do not overdo it. Pour the cheese filling over the layer of dough.
Step 3
Peel the apples and cut them into cubes. Toss with cinnamon and granulated sugar. Place the apples on top of the cheese filling layer.
Step 4
In a small bowl, mix the flour (140 g), oats, and brown sugar (100 g). Add the chopped butter and mix until crumbly. Cover the apples with this mixture.
Step 5
Bake for about 30 minutes, and 5 minutes before finishing, reduce the temperature to 302°F. Cut into squares and drizzle with liquid caramel.
