Ingredients
- Anise Vodka - 3 tablespoons
- Powdered Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Apple - 8 pieces
- Milk - 10 fl oz
- Egg white - 4 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Dry yeast - 0.2 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the peeled apples into rings and remove the seeds.
Step 2
Mix the anise liqueur with sugar and add the apple rings. Let sit for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Beat the eggs with the milk. Add the flour, yeast, and salt. Mix and let sit for 1 hour.
Step 4
Coat the apple rings in flour, then dip them into the batter.
Step 5
In a deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil to 356°F. Fry the apples in batches for 1 minute until golden brown. Use a slotted spoon to remove the donuts from the oil and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Step 6
Sprinkle the finished donuts with powdered sugar and serve warm.
