Ingredients
- Sugar - 6.2 oz
- Apple - 22.9 oz
- Water - 19 fl oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place sugar and a little lemon zest (grate the lemon using a coarse grater) in a small saucepan with water. Heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool, then remove the lemon zest.
Step 2
Peel and core the apples, add them to a pot, and cook for 5 minutes until soft. Allow to cool in a bowl.
Step 3
Place the chilled apples with syrup into a blender, squeeze in the juice of one lemon, and blend. Freeze for 1 hour.
Step 4
Remove from the freezer and stir with a fork to break it into crystals. Return to the freezer for another hour, then stir again. Repeat this process 3–4 times until the desired texture is achieved, then freeze until needed.
