Description
You can substitute apples and grapes with other fruits and berries. In that case, you need to adjust the amount of sugar (less for sweeter fruits), water, and butter (less for juicier fruits).
Ingredients
- Butter - 6.2 oz
- Apple - 26.5 oz
- Brown Sugar - 2.8 oz
- Raisins - 1.8 oz
- Ground clove - 6 pieces
- Ground Oats - 2.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2.5 oz
- Hazelnut - 1.8 oz
- Cinnamon - 2 teaspoons
- Grapeseed Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Remove the cores from the apples, peel them, and cut them into cubes.
Step 2
Place the apples, raisins, sugar, cloves, and 75 g of butter cut into small pieces into a pot. Add 75 ml of cold water, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 5–6 minutes until the apples soften slightly.
Step 3
Mix the oats with the flour, ground hazelnuts, 50 g of sugar, and cinnamon. Add 100 g of melted butter. Mix thoroughly and beat with a spoon until crumbly.
Step 4
Grease 4 heatproof bowls or other baking dishes with vegetable oil. Place the fruit mixture in them and sprinkle with the crumble.
Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven at 374°F for 25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
Step 6
Especially good served with vanilla ice cream.
