Description
Apple Jelly in a Multicooker
Ingredients
- Antonovka apples - 2 lbs
- Sugar - 17.6 oz
- Ground Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Remove the cores from the dry, clean apples.
Step 2
Cut the apples into wedges (do not peel), and place them in the multicooker bowl.
Step 3
Set the 'Stew' program for 55 minutes.
Step 4
Once finished, transfer the hot mixture to a glass container and blend it until smooth.
Step 5
Return the puree to the multicooker bowl, set the 'Stew' program for another 40 minutes, then add ground cinnamon, lemon juice, and sugar (you can add more sugar to taste).
Step 6
Cook in 'Stew' mode for another 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally (especially in the last half hour).
Step 7
To check for readiness, run a spatula through the puree - if a groove remains on the surface, the jelly is ready.
Step 8
Pour the jelly into molds and leave it to set.
Step 9
Remove the jelly from the molds and roll it in sugar.
