- Clear Apple Juice - 2 pieces
- Maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
- Dried cranberries with sugar - 1.1 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 tablespoons
- Ocean salt - ¼ teaspoon
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Shortcrust Cake Mix - 10.6 oz
- Vanilla Ice Cream - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Peel the apples and slice them thinly, transferring them to a bowl. Add the maple syrup, cranberries, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well and transfer to a greased oval baking dish. Dot the top with pieces of butter.
Step 2
Place the pastry over the filling, pressing the edges down and cutting a few small square holes in it with a knife, leaving the pastry in place.
Step 3
Bake for 35 minutes. Then increase the temperature to 392°F, sprinkle the pie with 1 tablespoon of sugar, and bake for another 35 minutes. Serve with ice cream.
