- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Powdered Sugar - 4 tablespoons
- Orange zest - to taste
- Chopped almonds - 3.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Sugar - 6 tablespoons
- Egg white - 3 pieces
- Apple - 6 pieces
- Cinnamon - to taste
- Milk - 17 fl oz
- Honey - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt the butter, add powdered sugar, zest, egg, and ground almonds. Mix everything, gradually adding 150 grams of flour. Spread the dough in a mold and place it in the refrigerator.
Step 2
Peel the apples, cutting the skin into strips, and arrange them in a rose pattern. Grate the flesh of two apples on a coarse grater, spread it over the dough, then drizzle with honey and place in a preheated oven.
Step 3
Prepare the custard. For this, mix the remaining flour with sugar, zest, and cinnamon. Add the yolks and milk. Cook the custard over low heat, stirring constantly.
Step 4
Pour the custard over the dough and decorate with the pre-prepared rose shapes, lightly brushing them with honey.
Step 5
Bake at a temperature of 180–392°F until the dough is cooked and the apples are golden.
