- Apple - 14.1 oz
- Chopped almonds - 2.8 oz
- Orange zest - 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 6 pieces
- Brown Sugar - 5.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Line the baking dish with parchment paper.
Step 2
Prepare the apples, almonds, and zest (peel and slice the apples, grind the almonds, and grate the zest).
Step 3
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Whisk the yolks with 100 grams of brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites with the remaining brown sugar and a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.
Step 5
Gently fold the egg whites into the yolk mixture using a wooden spatula. Sift in the flour and fold from the bottom up.
Step 6
Add the remaining ingredients.
Step 7
Pour into the baking dish and bake for about 35–40 minutes.
Step 8
Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh orange.
