Ingredients
- Green Apples - 5 pieces
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Apple juice with pulp - 7 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 15.9 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Cottage cheese - 3.5 oz
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices. In a skillet, melt 50 g of butter, add 50 g of sugar and 50 ml of apple juice — mix well. Add the apples and simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.
Step 2
In 450 g of flour, add 1 egg, 100 g of sugar, 100 g of cottage cheese, and 150 ml of apple juice. Knead the dough by hand and divide it into 2 parts.
Step 3
Roll one part into a sheet 1 cm thick. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil, spread the dough evenly across the bottom, and layer the caramelized apples on top. Roll out the remaining dough into a thin layer, cut it into strips, and arrange them in a lattice pattern over the pie.
Step 4
Brush the pie with egg yolk. Bake in the oven at 356°F for 30 minutes.
