Apple Sambuca
Ingredients
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Apple - 2 lbs
- Gelatin - 0.6 oz
- Egg white - 3 pieces
- Orange zest - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the apples, peel them, cut into wedges, and remove the seeds.
Step 2
Bake the apple wedges in the oven with a small amount of water.
Step 3
Cool the baked apples and blend them in a blender. Add sugar and egg whites to the apple puree and whip thoroughly. The mixture should double in volume.
Step 4
Soak the gelatin in warm water. Once the gelatin swells, dissolve it in a water bath with 500 milliliters of water. Strain.
Step 5
Pour the gelatin into the whipped puree in a thin stream, whip, pour into molds, and place in the refrigerator.
Step 6
Remove the finished sambuca from the molds by briefly dipping them in hot water.
Step 7
Garnish the sambuca with orange wedges.
