- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Water - 4 fl oz
- Apple - 7 pieces
- Brown Sugar - 5 tablespoons
- Ground Cinnamon - 0.2 oz
- Vanilla Ice Cream - 8.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the dough. Mix the egg, flour, water, and oil well. Knead the dough, adding a little more flour if necessary. Knead the dough for 15 minutes and leave it in a warm place for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2
For the filling, cut the apples into small pieces (I used apples of three varieties, to your taste), and mix them with sugar and cinnamon.
Step 3
Roll out the dough very thinly, trim the uneven edges to form a rectangle. Sprinkle a little flour on the dough and evenly distribute the apples, then roll it up. I ended up with two rolls.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 356°F, line a baking sheet with parchment paper greased with butter, and place the strudel on it. Bake for about 40 minutes.
Step 5
Serve the strudel with ice cream and berries. For an experiment, you can use hot chocolate and whipped cream.
