Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Butter - 2.6 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Water - 1 fl oz
- Apple - 4 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
To make the shortcrust pastry, mix the flour, salt, and butter by rubbing the mixture in your hands.
Step 2
Add water, knead the dough, and form it into a ball. Place it on a work surface and press it down with your palm 2–3 times.
Step 3
Roll the dough into a ball again and chill (preferably for 2 hours) before preparing.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 5
Peel the apples and slice them thinly.
Step 6
Dust the work surface with flour and roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
Step 7
Place it in a pie dish and arrange the apple slices in overlapping circles. Bake for about 30 minutes.
Step 8
Allow the tart to cool before serving.
