Apple Tart
Ingredients
- Pickled Apples - 5 pieces
- Brown Sugar - ½ cup
- Granulated sugar - 1 cup
- Vanilla extract - 2 teaspoons
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Lemon - ½ piece
- Puff Pastry - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 2
Peel the apples and cut them into quarters. Squeeze half a lemon over them.
Step 3
Use an oven-safe skillet!!!
Step 4
In the skillet, melt the butter. Add all the sugar and cook over medium heat for about 8 minutes.
Step 5
Then add all the apples and vanilla extract. Cover with a lid and cook for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Roll out the pastry. Cover the apples with the pastry. Make several cuts on top and place in the oven for 20–25 minutes.
Step 7
Let the tart cool. Invert onto a large plate. Serve warm.
