- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Golden pearls - 2 lbs
- Butter - 2.6 oz
- Puff Pastry - 8.8 oz

Step 1
Take 6 fairly large golden apples. Peel them, cut into 4 pieces, and remove the core.
Step 2
Generously grease a 25 cm baking dish with butter. Then cut the remaining butter into small pieces and place them at the bottom of the dish.
Step 3
Take 150 grams of sugar and sprinkle it on the bottom of the baking dish, then arrange the apples. Place the first layer with the core side up, sprinkle with ground cinnamon, and then place a second layer of apples with the outer side up. Sprinkle the remaining sugar on top. Place in a preheated oven at 482°F for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Then remove the dish with the apples and cover it with a thin layer of puff pastry (you can use store-bought or see the puff pastry recipe). Reduce the oven temperature to 356°F and bake the pie for another 15 minutes. Remove, let cool for 10 minutes, and serve with whipped cream.
