Ingredients
- Antonovka apples - 4 pieces
- Cider - 1 qt
- Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Cinnamon - 1 piece

Step 1
Remove the cores from the apples. Pour cider into a saucepan, add sugar and a cinnamon stick, place it over heat and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the apples to the saucepan, reduce the heat to low, and simmer the apples for about forty minutes.
Step 2
Then transfer the apples to an oven preheated to 392°F, while reducing the sauce until it thickens. Remove from heat and mix in the lemon juice. Once the apples are out of the oven, drizzle them with this sauce.
