To prepare the jam, you need to take firm, slightly underripe apricots, sugar, and water.

Wash the apricots, make incisions, and remove the pits. Crack the pits, extract the kernels, and insert them into the holes of the apricots.
Step 2
Dissolve the sugar in hot water, bring to a boil while stirring constantly, and boil for 2–3 minutes. Then strain the solution through boiled flannel or folded cheesecloth, bring to a boil again, and reduce by 1/4 of the volume over high heat.
Step 3
Pour the prepared apricots with kernels with hot syrup and let sit for 12 hours.
Step 4
After the resting period, drain the syrup, bring it to a boil again, pour it over the apricots, and let it sit for another 10 hours.
Step 5
On the third day, cook the jam until done. The apricots and syrup in the finished jam should be transparent. Allow the jam to cool, then pack it into dry sterilized jars, cover with boiled lids, and seal.
