Ingredients
- Pitted Wild Apricots - 16 pieces
- Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Lemon - 4 pieces
- Non-alcoholic sparkling wine - 17 fl oz
- Fresh basil leaves - 0.7 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Remove the pits from the apricots and place the fruit in an oven preheated to 356°F for fifteen minutes.
Step 2
Grate the zest from four lemons, squeeze the juice out of them, mix the zest and juice with semi-sweet sparkling wine and sugar, place on low heat and simmer for fifteen minutes, then combine the sauce with chopped fresh basil.
Step 3
Pour this sauce over the baked apricots and serve, for example, with ice cream. Alternatively, enjoy them on their own.
