Those who love to experiment are not afraid to add cumin, star anise, anise, and black pepper. Moreover, experienced professionals recommend buying spices whole and grinding them just before preparation. Ground spices tend to lose their aroma and spoil in flavor. Recently, the number of coffee lovers who enjoy cardamom coffee has been increasing, which can be attributed not only to its exquisite taste but also to the health benefits of the resulting drink.

Ingredients

  • Ground Coffee - 3 teaspoons
  • Cardamom - 4 pieces
  • Brown Sugar - 1 teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Crush the cardamom pods in a mortar or place them on a cutting board and crush them with the side of a knife; do not grind, just crush them to release their flavor.

Step 2

Add your favorite ground coffee (the amount of coffee depends significantly on how strong you like it; it can be more or less than indicated), sugar, and slightly crushed cardamom pods to the pot. Pour in clean cold water and place it over low heat.

Cook until it begins to boil, then turn off the heat.
