Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 3½ cups
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Sugar - ¼ cup
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 2.6 oz
- Melted Cheese - 4.2 oz
- Dry yeast - 2 teaspoons
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Butter - 4.2 oz
- Chili Flakes - 2 teaspoons
- Minced garlic - ½ teaspoon
- Water - 1 cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, ½ cup of Parmesan cheese, chopped mozzarella, and yeast.
Step 2
In a small bowl, beat 1 egg, ½ cup of softened butter, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
Step 3
Combine both mixtures and add warm water. Knead well. Then place on a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until you have an elastic dough.
Step 4
Place the dough in a bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover with a towel, and let it rise for 60–80 minutes.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease it with vegetable oil.
