- Salt - ¼ teaspoon
- Marinated cherries - 7.1 oz
- Crabapples - 4 pieces
- Sugar - 4.2 oz
- Brandy - 1.4 oz
- Butter - to taste
- Ground Cinnamon - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the dough, combine all ingredients, mix thoroughly, and refrigerate for 2 hours. Remove the pits from the cherries and let them sit for a while to release their juice.
Step 2
Peel and core the apples, cut them into cubes, and lightly sauté in a pan with cinnamon and brandy. Then combine with the cherries and add sugar.
Step 3
Roll out the dough on parchment paper into a thin layer, then place the filling on it and smooth it out. Roll the dough with the filling into a log and place it in a preheated oven at 356°F.
