Description
Recipe taken from a collection of recipes by Anna Johnson.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Almond - 3.5 oz
- Raw cane sugar - 2.3 oz
- Cotton Oil - 2 fl oz
- Water - 1 fl oz
- Corn Starch - 1 tablespoon
- Vanillin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Liquid dark chocolate - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine the flour, cornstarch, sugar, vanillin, and salt, mixing well. While stirring continuously, add the oil to the mixture, followed by the water. Knead into a fairly stiff dough. Wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for an hour.
Step 2
Once the dough has rested, shape it into half-spheres slightly smaller than a walnut. Place them on parchment paper and bake in the oven for 20–25 minutes at 356°F. Once baked, allow the cookies to cool completely in the slightly open oven.
Step 3
Next, melt the chocolate in a double boiler. When the chocolate cools slightly but is still liquid, use a teaspoon to spread chocolate on one half-sphere of the cookie and join it with the second half-sphere. Place the balls on a plate and let the chocolate cool completely and harden again.
