Ingredients
- Bagel - 10.6 oz
- Veal - 5.3 oz
- Pork Blood - 5.3 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - 1 head
- Lard - 2.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Grill Meat Spice Blend - 1 teaspoon
- Milk - 2 cups
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the bagels (must be round) in cold milk for 10–15 minutes to absorb the milk, but not too soggy.
Step 2
Make the filling from all the other ingredients.
Step 3
Roll the filling into small meatballs and place them on top of the holes in the softened bagels.
Step 4
Place the bagels with meat on parchment paper on a baking sheet and bake for 10–15 minutes at 356°F. Watch to ensure the bagels do not darken. Don't worry, the filling cooks extremely quickly.
